Re: The Dacino's Duty
Some of the minor duties have taken their leave, but i still have the major ones floating around. By Tamara's blessings, i was given exempt from tragedies as of late, my Duty is stable... If you do not count the multiple times i have been near death. Recently i have taken up a crusade versus the evil of the land, more importantly, the Demons.
. With Dominic, the Bard and Anna the whedab ir, we have slain the beholder that was living beneath the Lion's Way. After a few moments of respite, and meeting a sun? elf that had a shaggy and unkept hair, apparently still posessing the general arrogance of sun elves even with his lack of being maculate. We discussed with Dominic on our next journey, and we settled at trolls... Our next topic was how we are going to get there, at first we wanted to go by boat, but then by the time we would reach the Troll Claws, the sun would have rose, and Anna... doesn't like sun. I have decided to use the weave and teleport us there, Eigth Lion's worth of materials were used up in our method, but we arrived just in time to get to the Troll claws... But then i have suddenly remembered the pirate caves beneath, and ushered my party that way, half-way because of the Whebab Ir.
. Pirates... Scurvy, smell, rum, dung tossing monkies oh and more rum that come to mind when i hear about them. All of which are the truth, they are facts. We descended into the caves, encountering rather talkitive dwarves, gnomes, elves and humans. With Fire and Steel, i got past plenty of the larger forces, while the Drow backstabbed quite a few... Dominic just sang, and cut them up with his shortsword. As we descended deeper and deeper, we encountered some flooded caverns, travellable still. We passed by a waterfall, which had a strange glint and shape to it... i took it upon myself to investigate while Dominic and the elf took care of that crikey thing nearby... Saws on poles, acid spray, hot oil... the good stuff of Spleunking. Eventually i found a switch which allowed us past the secret door, into some more flooded caverns. It required me to be swift on foot thanks to the slippery surface... my boots were filled with water. Once again we descended, and encountered Undead pirates. They were challenging, but my orbs of acid melt flesh, be it fresh or rotten.
. After finding that the famed treasure of the walking death was an empty ale mug, Anna tossed it aside. We backtracked. After we passed through the fatal-looking traps, we have enountered a small cove. I followed the decking to a room covered by bars of steel. The obsidian skinned woman took some time with the locks, enough for us to be set upon, once again. Dealing with the pirate threat, we got into the room, plenty of gold everywhere. It was easy to share, 1/3 for everyone. Three chests, convenient, not so that two of them were empty. Waukeen, honest thanks for filling mine with gold and a scroll. We followed this path for a while, encountering a rotten chest from which another monkey jumped from towards us. We , the famous Monkey-slayers, took the garaguantan beast down swiftly. I wonder what these pirates feed these simians with, considering their loud bear-like growl.
. After i accidentally broke the rotten old thing, we backtracked and choose another path. We were met with a fancy gate, a fancy bridge, and a not so fancy basement of a warehouse. Afore we entered though, i cast a spell of Detect Magic, relying on the rumours of a demon living somewhere, and there must be some conjuration spell traces. I was correct, the basement was empty, but the floor ahead had a stomach gurgling feel to it... We had the greatest foe standing ahead. We collected ourselves, but not long enough to restore my spells, merely to Re-Ward ourselves. The battle was of epic proporitions, at least regarding spells. Isaacs', Magic Missiles and all sorts of spells were filling the room, some harmful, some just disabling. I have taken it upon myself to deal with the fiend. I was forced to break a rule, the rule that one should let their body rest after using Dragon Breath, for it's a straining technique. The time is usually, thirty seconds... Being hurried, i used it within a six second's interval... It stunned me long enough to allow the demon to rip off some flesh from my left arm... I have failed some spells after that wound thanks to being over-reliant on that arm when it comes to weaving. Eventually, Dominic fell, but we have triumphed. I looted the bodies, the chests, Anna did the same.. I began looking for our bard and found him dead, full of holes made by a missile storm. I grabed him by the arm and flung him over my shoulder. The elf and I left the warehouse, both of us bloodied. I covered my left arm in some Make-shift bandages, mostly ripped off from the cultists' robes to stem my blood from escaping my veins, My Draconic blood. Having sort of swore to give the best to those under my Wing, i've left for the south of Candlekeep on a Last Hope, a rowboat with a mast. There i landed and dragged my new friend after me... A bloody rabid badger tried to eat him, then me... I let a spell do it's work, and it almost died... I put it out of misery with my bare fist.
. And at last, thank Lendys, Chronepsis, Tamara, Oghma and Jergal! Dominic was back to life, my wounds recovered by the divine aid of Kivas Ulbright. I explained what happened to Dominic, then we parted ways. I managed to indept the chef of the Firendly Arm, and he owed me two tables' worth of food of any type, I was longing for such a feast, i could barely move for the final battle drained me, and i had no spells. On the way i encountered two Earth Genasi brothers, a Bombardier beetle, and a foolish bandit... and of course Kestral, in pink.
. From this rambling that might rival a good Brass dragon's ramblings, the point is that i truly hope that i have managed to succesfully prove that I am Silver Soul, a true warrior of Bahamut. Only Lendys, Bahamut and the Elder of Silverstone may decide.

Re: The Dacino's Duty
After a perfromance in the Risen Phoenix, covered in bandages after a long adventure... not having strength to make it to Candlekeep, and save for a cantrip, out of spells, he can't teleport there. He rents a room, and there he writes a new entry to his journal.
edit: Apparently, there is not flaming phoenix, only risen.
Bloody hells be! Am i being tested or something?! Betrayal there, failure before even being able to swear on it and now this... No reply... I am torn... I am truly torn, riddled, angered...
Is this a Time of Troubles that we entered, or was it always like this and i was oblivious to it? Where to start
Vex... Tall and lean, fair hair... likes to wear hoods. Nothing special eh? He is also a sailor... and i considered him friend enough to expose my back so he may defend it... The fool i was... i wonder why he hadn't stabbed a knife in me back then. According to mealir, he wants to kill me. He is a member of the Hellstorms, those bloody rotten pirates. I was betrayed... i was truly betrayed! When i arrived at the coast, i openly gave every lowlife a blank slate, on which they may inscribe their actions. Everyone, i befriended, made allies... Vex is one of these. Unfortunate, he decided to use black, dark and foul bloody ink over the elegant silver and gold. I am not saying that project was a failure, i have plenty of allies, powerful to boot... Laitae, the Guide, entire Candlekeep, the Wanderess crew and many more, but i wishn't to waste my ink, i have but a well, and that is half-empty... or half-way full as some would say... as i would have said back then...
The former Underdark slave Vala... She was pretty weathered when i met her, and rather jumpy. I got her to keep safe inside a cave on the coast... but then a day after i found she was a bloody rotten hellstorm pirate as well! A Hellstorm! Why in the nine must all the people i consider potential friend turn to the enemy? I bet... tomorrow i'll find Laitae and the Guide wearing the skull flag... Shouldn't mention that because it WILL happen with all these betrayals. And now... that Valshar of the Underdark, some drow wizard... abducted her... There i Go! A Duty failed before it even began! I am glad i didn't take the vow though... otherwise i'd have my own acidic dagger i was given by the riddler in the bar... performing my own death of Shame...
There is no reply coming from Sarah Silverstone, my patron... save Desake, my only family whom i have blood relations with! Something bad must have happened... but if i go there now, i will only bring more danger... That damned lich of Orcus is watching propably my every step, including my writing in this room. I carry my Silver Falchion with me all the time, it makes me immune to possesion... save the strongest... and then i have my pure willpower... I have survived the death of the Dacino, Exhaustion from casting all my spells, and almost freezing to death in the Nashkell foothills... Almost dieing to wyvern poison... No litch's going to make me his puppet. During the end of this Tenday... we head for the Netherese Ruins... There hopefully we will find this litch and banish him once and for all... or at least teach him not to dare mess with Candlekeep.
Bahamut, Io.. Tamara, Lendys, Chronepsis, Valkur, Mystra, Azuth, Tyr, Torm, Helm, Tymora.... gods whose' portfolios i respect and keep with the best i can... please... answer these plaintive questions of this Dragon-blood.. Are these trials set ahead me on the path of Silver Soul? If so... then i will brave them... but endanger me only, and not my patron Sarah, that innocent Tiefling Vala or anyone else i encounter...
A woman called me noble creature, i consider myself that ... not. I am merely keeping with the ideals i reflected upon myself.. with my life on the knife's edge while doing it occasionally.
I do my best to extenguish my guilt and pain through song and false joy... Hopfully the thrill of adventure can keep my mind off these troubles... unfortunately Death's nearness no longe prrovides all the same thrill it used to...

Re: The Dacino's Duty
A duty has been completed, hopefully that bloody lich will no longer trouble me. Now i can plan on finally teleporting to the Earthfasts and seeing to the lack of reply personally. So far no reply came from the Elder either... but i am not worried about him, he is old enough to fend off anything but a deity or an army... which i doubt would attack the Clanhold.
I beleive i have learned everything there is to learn in regards to being an Eldericth Knight, it is time for me to focus on magic truly, and learn the ninth circle finally... but first things first, 8th circle must be beaten.
I have learned lesser Mind blank, True Seeing and Shadow shield... Hopefully they will aid me during my investigation.
Using my claws, i have attempted carving a few prayers.. i have broke off a few... luckily i am a left hander when it comes to writing, and my left hand is fine...
Bahamut protect me and the Silverstone

Re: The Dacino's Duty
//It's hard to write poems in english... Hungarian's easier :/. And Dacino rhymes with avowed.
It has been some time since i wrote into a shiplog, but finally, i have done so. As the Navigator of the Whistling Wanderess, i have to keep track of the position of astral bodies, the North, East, West, south and time (including speed). We are not far from Waterdeep now, We're going to drop anchor soon... I am filled with fear.
Back out on the waters, we encountered a trap, but we torched the wannabe pirates. Other than a slight storm, we didn't have any trouble, Rain didn't even require my potions, gods willing, she won't accidently touch MY batch of Instant Feast... It takes some powerful constitution not to throw up from it... now combine that with Sea sickness and you have a pretty sight...
For why i am filled with Fear... One family, the Lepaiths. It has been a good decade since i've spoke with them, a good 12 years to be exact... 12 years they did not see their daughter, and will never again... The Father, Z'russ was a great mate, we drank and sang merry tunes, he was enthralled by the life of sailing, and commanded Ar'ri to write a few songs regarding it. Zalaya, My First mate's mother, on the other hand, did not like me... she called me "Scurvy contaignous sailor human"... she has a thing againts humans... It took me a while to convince her, and she let Ar'ri go on the condition i cut off my claws, so that i won't harm her accidentally. I complied, i did not want to let go of Ar'ri now, the few months without her after our meeting in the Gate were painful ones.
They live inside their enterprise, a tavern what dockworkers and sailors love to frequent, myself included. They are bards by nature, and good folk, even with Zalaya. I truly wish that Tamara and Hanali will allow me to break the sour news to them without tragedy... I avoided them since Ar'ri's death, afraid to go Eye to Eye with them, but i have since learned that If i have the dare to face wraiths, dragons and even swore that i am willing to face Tiamat, then i will not run from fate, not any more!Code: Select all
"Fate, beautiful you are Kind, caring and loving I found you excelent, inviting. I thougth you favoured me, and all those with me But in the end, i have found, that you are nothing but a mere mortal. With the Mortal's whims and wishes, your faithful suffer under your lashes Be it a dragon, an elf A Dwarf, a human. A right or a left. A woman or a man. It matters not You wish only to satisfy your boredom Like a fiend But in the end, i have found, That you care not of who but the how, You wish to instill suffering In the easiest way possible. I have looked I was there, searching: Searching for a way possible To break from your whip. But your will is strongest And i have failed. But, i may not fail I am Silver Soul I am Dacino I am Avowed. My will power is a spiky flail And my fortitude a Tower Shield I may not be quick, but i can take it With a steadfast soul. You are a snowstorm You thougth you may weather me But you were oblivious To the blood within me You may be snowstorm But I am the one who controls it. And with my power I shall tame it!"
[/i]
Hoihe has 4 perform, so it makes sense if his poem fails

Re: The Dacino's Duty
Some blood cover this page of the journal adorned with silveric plates on it's cover... the blood seems to hold a pattern of five, and some sharp holes are in their centre, as if stabbed
Gods... I hate Tiamat and her pawns... My great-grandfather hated them too... until he died to Umberlee's wrath... A new Duty of the Dacino has arisen, but this one i shall tangle as a Silverstone as well, for the memory of Sarah Silverstone whom was defiled by myQuasi-borther.
I have planned for a visit in the Earthfasts, Aruon and Seth granted me aid, we cleaved through the Yeti, and avoided the frost giant on our heels. As we came near my master's lair... blood covered the otherwise beautiful white snowy peak... I was met with a horrid sight as the burning second home of mine materialised into view... I felt like as if my heart was clutched in some clawed talons.. so cold yet burning... I almost fainted, but I knew i had to investigate. We warded ourselves from fire with the knights, and we leaped within... It was an alien sight... No soft snow that i used to just lie and rest after a long hard day's training with Sarah, no beautiful silver symbols... Only pools of crimson sin and burning embers... We dove deeper, and we were met with a creation of the Cult of the Dragon, we have slain it in the name of Torm, Gwaern Windstorm, Bahamut, Chronepsis and of course... Asgorath. Slain is the wrong term, for it was already dead... a massive draconic skeleton, animated by magics most foul. We freed Sarah's bound soul at last, then went on to investigate.
As we done, fields of teleportation materialised all over the room, humans with scales of red, wings of red, in robes of red... Red Dragon Disciples. They attacked us relentlessly, it was the first time i have ever used my claws in combat, to finish off the bloody spawn of Tiamat by ripping their throats out... My axe's handle became slippery... My spells were breached, i was scorched but we kept fighting. At last, we prevailed. By being the naive fool i am, i called Ashalon so he can help me to find Sarah... He did help me... The undead dragon was her... It was his doing, he ordered the dragon disciples to slay her, then make her undead... I should have acted sooner and just simply cleave his head off his body, but disbelief was too strong and i only made the cut when he was disappearing into the Weave.
Suddenly, more disciples came and the world faded as i was caught in the crossfire of their breath, mine has already ran out slaying quite a few... I know not of how long i was out but i woke up to the magic of my allies curing me, i was battered... I had no spells save cantrips and a few second and third circle ones left... none for combat. The cave began to rumble, and we hurried outside... for me that was forced limping... Once we were outside, i almost collapsed, the cave collapsed... Sarah was now forever gone, her remains crushed under the stone... Ssifisv persvek martivir((rest in peace)), Sarah Silverstone, you deserve it utmost...
I had no power left, we had to improvise a camp... it was night, and the nights up the Earthfasts are harsh, even for someone whom has the cold itself flowing through his veins, like me... Seth and Auron managed to create a windshield and a small camp as i stood with mere disbelief... and pain... Both physical and mental. After sleeping through the night, the knights each getting their turn to watch as i handed them a bottle of Instant Feast each.
In the morning, i called for the Tilabil, and he came. I told him Everything. He told me to get stronger, for to war we go to avange my master... I... will...earn the name of Silverstone, and rip the Thrice-damned Ashalon's throat with my mere claws... after making him one with Ice...
The new Duty:
- Avange Sarah Silverstone's Death, punish Ashalon, earn the name Silverstone through valor.
- Prepare for war...

Re: The Dacino's Duty
As Hoihe leaves the Whistling Wanderess, carrying a beautifully engraved piece of wood in his hands, he sets off for the Friendly Arm Inn and scribbles the following.
- Gods, Fate : I call out to you. I call out and ask, am i being mocked? Beshaba and Sune... gods of opposing philosophies, and yet... where there is Sune there has to be Beshaba...
- 25 days away from the area that almost became my home, 15 days out at the sea, and ten in Waterdeep. The trip there was uneventful, just some pirates... the trip back? According to Mealir we passed a Sahuagin city, not even Laitae's Weather Control could hold back their storm... but our blades did. We also had some stowaway kids from Waterdeep, we put them on a populated island, the Gate being a bad place for them
- It's actually the tenday what worries me, i have visited the Lepaiths. Z'russ was as hospitable as always, until i told him of what happened... unfortunate that Zalaya heard it, canceling whatever agreement i could have came to with Z'russ... Seems Ar'ri's younger sister was... forgiving in a point of view, she actually considered my offer, and told me to await her request. Mrysky, her name was I think. The Flute has been returned, but the sin that sits on my chest making my breathing hard did not fade wholesome... I must repay the lepaiths someway... I should seek if there is a spell that might grant them final veitrelg
- And we come to the reason of this entry... Sune has decided to come to me again and shown me another... And Beshaba has already laid her claim to her, albeit without... permanent harm. I will quest to quench her thirst, and remove what ails Valge Kylm, fellow follower of the Nine-fold dragon. If it weren't for my little talk with Mealir... i might as well just bailed out of this instance, but I already challenged Tiamat and Fate itself once... Beshaba will be nothing new. I will emerge victorious.
- 25 Days without her, I've engraved her a gift, upon a wooden plank with my claws... took me severeal tries but it looks homely enough.
- Time to end this chapter... What do we have...
May Tymora grant Ar'ri martivir, I will never forget her... but it's time to row to new waters. Tymora watch over us
- The Dacino's Duty:
- redeem oneself in face of lepaiths.
- laugh in Beshaba's face as Sune emerges victorious

//Use Draconic translator for the random tibit of Draconic, Martivir = peace, Veitrelg = Farewell.
I am not sure if whatever Adieou/latin exist in FR setting, and Draconic can stand in for both Adieou and pace. I think a scholar's writings might have a bit of "multi-linguistic flavour"

New master

Old Guy is Hoihe's master. He likes to bonk people on the head.
- Beshaba has been quelled... for now. Sune has became the one who planted her device upon this battle field, with Tymora's and Illameter's help. I pray that this keeps for long.
- I have also been given a smile by Hoar... but it is clear that I must wait, or at least according to Kief Silverstone, my new master. The Elder appointed him to see to what Sarah started. Unlike Sarah though, he doesn't give me any heroic title like "Silver Soul", only "hatchling"... but I shall count my blessings. I have a feeling I started off fine in the clan, for according to him, it is a great Honour i received from the Elder. "You do not speak to the Elder, unless he speaks to you".
Sarah, your vengeance will be delayed, but It is for the order of success.- Unlike before, I am no longer stopped by death, I have access to Divine help through scrolls, lucky coins and priests... beshaba you will have to work harder... but rather just give up. Sune shall prevail.

Re: The Dacino's Duty
Getting there... slowly but surely. The shrine of the World-shaper one day may see the world in it's true glory. Six scales is all that left... A golden, a silver and a brass... Those won't be too hard I hope. Kifel will place his own scale on the shrine, I just have to prove myself worthy. The Golden and the brass scale... Well i'll just keep a brass humoured, then maybe it'll give it to me... For the gold dragon.. just got to work on their pride.
There are perilous scales left though... Red, blue and white ... I dobt I can get the rest of the scales peacefully... I will have to fight most likely.
I have the scale of a green dragon from Thundar's ride; I have the scale of a cppper dragon through a draconic armour... Ssifisv persvek martivir ... ; I have the scale of a black dragon from Durlag's Tower; And Valge offered her keepsake bronze scale. She will place it herself, and with the honour of the finisher. Once the shrine is complete... I will by then learned everything Kifel can part me with.. I will be ready to face Ashalon.
I must meditate each day, each morning, on the three virtues of silver "Sereneity, Wisdom and Focus" ...

Re: The Dacino's Duty
Hoihe flips open his journal after casting the last sending towards avereon as the Whistling Wanderess slowly approaches the island with the Necropolis. He tints his quill in ink then begins to scribble upon a page within his book. He writes using common and the common alphabet mostly... but ocassionally refers to Draconic words.
It has been some time since I recorded my travels, but I feel it is time to do so. This necropolis we seek sounds forbidding and maybe I may fall there... maybe I shall not. What is on my mind though at the moment is best recorded in common so that my duties remain recorded.
I have recently promised to help an elven woman who goes by the name Averëon Elestar. She looks to me to be a wild elf, though rather refined one. She is apparently struck with a curse or possesion or is targeted for such and is first tormented. Either case, I will get into the deep of this I swear! Maybe within the necropolis I could find clues on what is happening. Maybe I will not. It does not matter. I have a few plans on fixing this. I will not let whatever is afflicting her spread unobserved. I understand that my methods might endanger me, but if they will do I hope she will be relived of it wholesome. I have a better chance of resisting temptation through my dragon Warrior training than her. And if it decides to tie into me, I am not sure that if I will live through another duty of mine. If I will take my fall there then it shall fall with me as well and it's spread will be quelled. Hopefully, it will not come to that and it can be destroyed and stopped without anyone having to die. I shall pray to Asgorath that it shall not come to that. My friend and collegae, Laitae Lafreth a reader at this time of writing, suspects that Avereon is afflicted with the same curse that Wendel is: Slowly decaying to undeath. I doubt that is true but I have contacted her to see Kivas Ulbright regarding receiving the same divine treatment as Guide Wendel, should it be true then it be suspended until enough materials are found for the cure. Hopefully it's something else without this much a sinister side to it. It may be possesion. I will try and call out to the creature and hopefully make it come out and fight it as the girl escapes. I may, once again, die. But I shall die in Bahamut's name. I pray it's not a balor lord. Amongst my treatment is a third: the Map of Many. First, I shall ask Valqis to scan her for planar involvement. Then I shall take her to the Plane of Dreams because there, your thoughts become reality. Maybe if the thing clings to her subconcious, it will be revealed there. Mentioning the Plane of dreams brings up another solution, the plane of shadows. I suspect she shares her soul with a Nightwalker and shares vision as well, that would explain the shadowy figures just outside her field of vision. As I mentioned before, the Map of Many shall aid us. I remember my first trip to the plane of dreams well, Tamara's song was quite powerful and helpful in our expoloration there. I remember it clearly.
On another note I had some red relevations. I have managed to enter a strife of Blood & Jealousy. It is between the eons old red dragon Raugarathis, a devout follower of Bahamut and hoarder of an army of red dragon disciples whom are mostly his offspring, amongst them is Ashalon. It turns out that the Ornternesj, Silverstone in draconic and this Raugarathis held a long feud betwen each. Ashalon tried to infiltrate the Silverstone but my own initiation twarthed his plans. He is a special son of Raugarathis, he hails from Silverymoon if it is of any importance. I have also found out the elder's name, no disrespect inteded, which is rather funny... Nuwa'jimos which means Hatchling when translated to common. Funny that Kifel is basically addressing me with the name of the elder most of the time we meet. It was not him though whom revealed this information rather it was Jilnpel the brass bard. Jilnpel is draconic for bard by the way so it comes out as Bard the brass bard. I suppose his parents knew of his coming greatness. Especially with that he, a brass dragon whom are known for being talkitive, was out-talked by me, whom is of silver blood and a human mostly. Kifel himself admitted that it was truly a feat unmatched. We spoke for days as I first told him all about my life and a bit more. I was thinking I will starve and dehydrate to death but I knew I had to keep talking to earn the brass scale. I did earn it and a tale as well. A tale of Blood & Jealousy Thinking back I feel cheated, He basically told the same tale I told him from another perspective. But in the end I feel that what he told me makes up for his lack of creativity.Hoihe wrote:~Is this truly what it seems? ~

I have relearned the technique of Elemental Weapon again as well, but I have to take it slowly. I can not breathe upon my weapons yet for I lack control and end up freezing them beyond usefulness. I broke many a weapon that way. But if I instead lick it or spit upon my weapon, then I get a weaker version of the desired effect. It shall do for now.
As I mention my Darastrix Arytiss of Bahamut profession, I should mention my book the Aridarastrixarytissiturasjir which when is translated to common means "Book of Dragon Warrior. It was a work of but one week so it's not massive but still rather informative. I should hand it to Avereon and let her see if she wishes to go through with becoming a Dragon Warrior and such learning to be immune to the effects of fear, to feel like the apex predator, at least in mind. Maybe that would scare the thing off. Should she accept I will inform her that I also know of the reverse rituals, should she wish not becoming so close to the most majestic creatures of the realms.

Re: The Dacino's Duty
After finally rowing back to the Wanderess, Hoihe limps over to his cabin, wrapping himself in bandages and the crimson red cloak he got from the Seven Sun mercentile as he sits down. Soon afterward after his pain eases he sits down by a desk and begins to write down notes in what seems to be the Navigator's Log, making notes on the wind and calculating the way back. He mutters "Two days." And then he just lies down and falls asleep. The following day he opens his journal after performing his duties, takes out his set of ink wells and begins to dip his quill into the black one. Quickly afterwards he begins to scribe.
Hoihe then closes the journal with his clawed hands, pulls a glove over them and returns to his duties as a Navigator, enjoying the salt water's vapor.
That was close. The keeper of the necropolis put up a tough fight and almost had us killed, we Teleported out just as many of us fell uncocious. Leo snuck out. The fight was a disaster but the expoloration did bear fruit. We have found the library. Within a minute, approximately fourty seconds is all it took, I pillaged the place and put the books within one of my magical bags. The bag is quite heavy, I hope the Guide will commend me for this pillage. There is about only one day left of the voyage and tomorrow I am back on the Sword Coast. I will have a busy set of days. I have to find a blue dragon and ask for it's scales, I have to greet Valge (though that will be rather pleasant), I have to stem what is affecting Averëon in before it spreads, I have to get a combusting scroll for Rain as well.
Regarding the Black Gem Mystery which therein I shall abbrevate as BGM, I have been given access to the Map of Many. I shall seek out a plane similiar to the Demi-plane of Dreams, in regards of materialising one's conciousness. Hopefully I will be given insight into this thing and even more Hopefully I can beat it. Within the necropolis we've encountered plenty of undead, amongst them were a shadow fiend. I beleive my opponent on the plane shall be a Shadow fiend or a soul reaver, both of which i've slain more than a couple. If only I knew how to scry... then I could keep watch on this Averëon and see if she acts... weird. Would further my investigation beyond measurable times.
The Shrine of the World-Shaper, Asgorath is nearing completion. Four scales remain. Blue, gold, white, silver. My next target is a blue dragon. I have heard rumours of a druid of the winged mother being within the Dukes' lands, maybe I will be able deal with the blue peacefully. I am just to find her. I wonder who she is. My master, Kifel is seeking a Gold Dragon still, rare creatures they are. I wish to bring my apprentice, Kelburn Ironfaar and Guide Wendel Ashby of Candlekeep. Kelburn for he wishes to meet a gold dragon again. Wendel because he needs the blood of one to avoid being turned into an undead. Maybe i should bring Laitae as well, she would be overjoyed to talk to a Dragon. Valge could come too, but she despises the sternness of Gold Dragons. I will have to ask her. I know that I will get a silver scale from Kifel once I prove myself worthy to him. I can't wait to rightfully call myself Hoihe Dacino Silverstone or rather Jilgbisai Dacino Ornternesj. Kifel fits Kifel well, for he is rather greyish, though I wonder if he had a different name in his youth. I think Jilgbisai could fit me too for I am a holder of duty. Maybe I should just keep to Hoihe, after all that is how I was named.
