The founders created the server, and saw it through its alpha period and into its open beta period. Although they are no longer involved in the server, they laid the foundation on which everything else has been built.
Global Admin:
Goat
The Global Admin (or Director) administrates the server's host machine and forums, maintains the financial accounts, ensures that all hosting fees are paid, and sees to the server's overall operations. They help direct the server's strategic vision, communicate with the administrators of other Neverwinter Nights 2 community servers and the Neverwinter Nights 2 community at large, and maintain a developer and DM staff to help with day-to-day administration.
You may want to reach out to the director if:

- You have a legitimately bugged character (stuck name from disguise toggle, etc.);
- You wish to report a server or service outage;
- You need a character rollback (copy to HDMs as well);
- You need your CD keys cleared or additional CD keys added;
- You have some kind of mechanical issue that none of the other teams support.
System Operator:
Goat
The system operator, or sysop, is in charge of maintaining the server's firewall, software, backups, databases, and IT infrastructure. They ensure system integrity and security, and assist the directors and the Head DMs with day-to-day administrative operations (fixing characters who are being booted after the purchase of a new CD key, etc.).
You may want to reach out to the sysop if:
- You are being booted, or cannot log in;
- You have questions about DDOS protection and cybersecurity.
- You have an exploit to report
- You have a legitimately bugged character (stuck name from disguise toggle, etc.)
- You wish to report a server or service outage

Head Moderator:
(Vacant: Contact Goat if interested)
The Head Moderator (or Forum Developer) manages, develops, and oversees the bgtscc.net property -- the most visible aspects of which is the forums and wiki. This position also oversees the recruitment, dismissal, and mentoring of forum moderators; authors and enforces forum rules; and administrates forum bans.
You may want to reach out to the Head Moderator if:
- You would like to join the forum moderators;
- You have a complaint to lodge against a forum moderator;
- You would like to appeal a ban, or a disciplinary decision regarding the forums;
- You have issues with the forum or website;
- You have ideas for improving the forum or website.
Head DMs:
DM Verjigorm, DM Faith
The Head Dungeon Masters (or Head DMs) administrate the DM team, help develop the server's overall direction, ensure that player requests and storylines are being handled correctly, and take efforts to ensure that players are being treated fairly by the DMs. They oversee the recruitment, dismissal, and mentoring of DMs; author and enforce server and forum rules; and administrate player bans.
You may want to reach out to the Head DMs if:
- You would like to join the DM team;
- You have a complaint to lodge against a DM or another player;
- You would like to appeal a ban, or a disciplinary decision;

Module Curator:
(Vacant: Contact Goat if interested)
The module curator is in charge of maintaining the server's module, staging updates to the module, and troubleshooting module problems. They coordinate with the other developers and the scripters to ensure that their content is released in game once approved, and they work to ensure that all operating files are running correctly and without conflict.
You may want to reach out to the lead developer if:
- You have content you would like included on the module;
- You notice bugged content or broken content in game;
- You have questions about existing content;
- You are a developer and need access to the SVN.
Lead Programmer:
(Vacant: Contact Goat if interested)
The lead programmer is in charge of maintaining the server's scripts, ensuring that new content does not conflict with existing scripts, and troubleshooting coding and programming problems. They produce original content in conjunction with the Quality Control Team and Lead Developer, and also coordinate with other scripters to ensure that their content does not conflict with the server's primary scripts.
You may want to reach out to the lead programmer if:

The head builder helps organize and prioritize area map development, checks and approves areas before they are submitted to the SVN, oversees the removal of areas the staff feels are no longer needed, ensures that the interiors of areas removed are moved to appropriate existing areas, manages and maintains existing areas, teaches and aids the other builders as well as fielding incoming requests, and manages and maintains the area building staff.
You may want to reach out to the head builder if:
- You would like to build or edit area maps for the server;

- You have areas you'd like considered for the game;
- You have questions about existing maps or map features;
- You have questions about building for Neverwinter Nights 2 in general.
BG:TSCC Staff Groups:
DMs: The DMs, or Dungeon Masters, are in charge of the server's overall in-game administration. They run events, direct adventures, control NPCs, and otherwise make the whole world come to life for players. They also answer player requests and help with technical problems. Full DMs are given the agency to deal with player arguments and conflicts, and to level discipline against players who do not comply with the server's rules or the staff's requests. If you disagree with a DM's disciplinary decision, please screenshot it and appeal it to the Head DMs.
Associate DMs: The Associate DMs are junior DMs, still in training. They are primarily charged to run events and help with minor tech support. They are not permitted to make as many independent decisions as senior DMs, and they are not permitted to handle player disciplinary issues (except where emergency interventions are required).
Campaign Coordinators: A rotating position where senior DMs (usually two) are tasked to lead a given year's annual campaign -- the overarching storyline that helps set the tone for the year's events and ensures that there's always a cohesive plot of some sort, reactive to player actions, and not just a series of disconnected events in an otherwise static world.
Associate Developers: BG:TSCC's Associate Developers (colloquially referred to as "the dev team" or "builders") are in charge of creating custom content, altering maps, and developing or troubleshooting existing content. An associate developer will usually specialize in one of two areas: As either an "area builder" working with the Toolset or a "scripter" working on new scripts, quests, classes, and mechanical content.
Quality Control: The Quality Control team (or "QC") is in charge of testing new content for balance and bugs; for reporting bugs with existing, released content; and for troubleshooting exploits and other problems. They play an important role in ensuring that developers produce content that is consistent with the server's existing content and fair, and hold developers accountable for what is released. Ideally, nothing should be released live without a nod from QC.
Forum Moderators: The forum moderators moderate the forums to ensure that forum rules are being upheld, and that users are being courteous and fair to one another. They lock threads that are out of hand (either for a cool-down period or permanently), answer forum reports, move threads to the appropriate forums if they are posted in the wrong spot, transfer closed threads to archive groups as appropriate, and otherwise work to ensure that the forums are operating correctly for all users
Media Team: The media team produces original art and design that's used in-game for icons, custom appearances (such as new armor or character heads and hairstyles), and decoration. They also produce creative writing for developers and DMs. They have, in the past, even designed new monsters and original placeables unique to BG:TSCC, as well as voice sets and youtube videos. They play a role in BG:TSCC's social media advertising as well.
