Brief descirpiton
Loth is a male human ranger/ assasin of age 24, with chaotic good character. He has bear companion Ozzu. Loth is a follower of Tymora, and knows languages of animal empathy, common, elven and language used by assasins.

Loth is quite well built, not too much, but not so little to say he is average. He has bright green eyes, jet black long hair and pale skin. Mostly, he wears clothes in color of mixed black, brown and dark green. His outfit selection often includes pirate accents or what is commonly considered by folk to be a part of sailors clothing. The quiver that hangs over his back is wrapped around with a yellow cloth.

Loth left his home villiage along with his wife to seek adventures, gain life experience and to use his skills as ranger to earn gold during his journey, possibly make some friends and enemies. They arrived to Baldurs Gate in 1355 DR (Loth age is 21), and until now this region is in center of their interest, where they live and hunt. In 1356 terrible events started to fell on this region of Sword Coast - and Sword Coast at all - along with many other neighbour areas. In early middle of 1357 events escalated to the level where they decided to go back to his villiage and Elvalias home, to ensure safety of their family and region of their origins.
In Baldurs Gate region of the Sword Coast - if he is even known - can be known by some for working and living close to Elder Circle, sometimes seen with former Archduid Sane. He took a part in unusual caravan rescue expedition. The caravan was attacked by a huge group of trolls in nearby Troll Hills. Mentioned trolls had magic symbols on their heads, and these symbols probably forced their obedience to the person who placed them there. Survivors from caravan were taken as hostages in nearby mine. After dealing with situation adventurers met powerful but - as it turned out - not hostile licht who appeared right at the entrance to the mine with whole party of undead soldiers on his side. He turned out to be some great but fallen general from some previous war, who was considered to begone forever by few still living participants, and shared important information that had to be delivered back to Elder Circle, to Archdruid. Authorities of city and major guilds were informed after Loth contacted with Archdruid, on what both side previously agreed - powerful undead creature told him to not tell this to anybody else - but as he is undead creature he can't be trusted. Rumors of these events spreaded fast among societyt, but rumors about other raising threats were even faster, and folk connected these rumors with each other. Shortly after this, Loth asked to join Elder Circle as ranger, and even began his training with First Ranger of Elder Circle - but he never completed his training, as he along with his wife returned to the place where he grew up to see if his family is in danger and, if necessary, to be able to defend his home against threats and the war that soon hit the Sword Coast.
In early 1358 DR both he and a female moon elf can be seen again in area, near to the Friendly Arms Inn.

BIOGRAPHY AND ORIGINS
Hidden: show
He thinks of himself as foreigner from northern Sword Coast. He was born in unnamed villiage with small inn and 4 families including his own. Villiage was located between Luskan and Mirabar. He was born in 1334 DR, 10TH of Kythorn - Year of the Blazing Brand. Tanalasta Obarskyr, first daughter of King Azoun IV of Cormyr was born same year.
The village was situated on the right bank of the Black Raven River, north of the River Mirar and the Blackford Road, in the hills at the foot of the Spine of the World. The village consisted of four big two-story houses inhabited by four families. The village had a small agricultural and livestock farm on southern outskirts that serves all families - in one large building there is a stable for horses and a farm where goats and sheep are kept - small and variable numbers, with the most number of 6 animals per type of animal. Typically, there are no less than 3 horses in the village, but stables were able to accommodate 8 horses at a time. The building is surrounded by small-sized farmlands where herbs such as, for example, Wyndor's herbs, Trueroot, Pennyroyal, Nararoot, Ghostroot and Bloodstaunch have been planted seasonally or year-round. Behind a small tavern in the garden there is a small Felsul plantation - the settlers try to maintain a constant number of at least 20 plants of this species.
In the middle of the settlement, there is a small, well-worn square, capable of accommodating one large caravan with stalls with goods. There is also a larger field where carrots, parsley, garlic and onions are planted in much larger quantities than herbs. Between the cultivated fields there is a hut with a spacious basement, and both floors are used as a craftsman's workshop, a slaughterhouse, a sawmill and a warehouse all in one. The warehouse stores food and medicines, large amounts of wood for trade and fire, as well as tools and materials.
From the side of the Spine of the World – north - and from the east - towards Mirbar - the settlement is separated from the wilderness by about a meter high wall, messily made of stones stacked on each other. At the corner of the wall there is a hunting pulpit converted into a watchtower.
The village sells large amounts of wood to caravans traveling east. The wood is obtained from the surrounding forests. From the hills and the foot of the mountains to the north, settlers obtain Juniper, from which they extract even more valuable oil. Additionally, the settlement sells Felsul wood and leaves from this tree.
Caravan from Ten-Towns arrives here constantly to trade and exchange goods, average for once per month, taking away lot of wood wood and herbs - if there are any due to season - and leaving fishes and raw Knucklehead ivory in return, which is later processed and sold further.
The proximity of the trade route allows the settlement to survive, although it is not that often visited by caravans. In addition to the caravan from Icewind Dale, merchants from or on their way from/to Mirabar and Luskan also arrive here, as well as traders who are not associated with these towns. On average, 2 caravans per month arrive here, but more often than merchants a smaller groups of adventurers visit here, looking for a temporary shelter and rest before heading on a further journey.
The settlement buys alcohol and drinks, food in the form of meat and many vegetables that are unsuitable for cultivation in this soil due to temperature, but that are common throughout Faerun. They also buy herbs and medical ingredients such as salt, for example. There is a need for everything that the villiagers are not able to produce, extract or grow on their own - including advanced tools, advanced weapons and armor, complex misstructures, and luxury goods.
In addition to the aforementioned goods, the village sells large amounts of fur and meat, common vegetables and fruits, fish caught in a nearby river, and above all, huge amounts of herbs - Nararoot is of particular interest locally.
Less often, after obtaining a reasonable amount of items for sale, and due to processing and/or obtaining time of the resources, residents also sell potions, medicines, clothes, furniture, scrimshaw, gemstones, perfumes, oils and trophies.
Once every six months, a priest of Tymora comes to the village to trade, gossip, teach and heal if there is a need - he is a friendly human cleric in his middle who is fluent in alchemical arts. Village also makes money on a small inn that is run by one family of inhabitants. The inn offers accommodation, meals and drinks, as well as stable - but the bedrooms can only accommodate from 4 to a maximum of 10 people. If there is a larger caravan in a village, usually the majority of it sets up camp on a previously mentioned square, while the inn's rooms are occupied by the most important people in the caravan, along with their guards.
In the event that the settlement lacks important raw materials, medicines, food or if there is a any crisis, some residents simply saddle their horses and go either to Luskan or Mirabar, less often they will go somewhere further beyond these places. As settlement is not far from Luskan or Mirabar, some of the settlers work in one of these places as caravan guards, city guards or miners in Mirabar. Usually they work there for several days in a row and then return to the settlement to take care of its affairs.

Loth's father is in Mirabar 7 days a week (a week has 10 days), where he works as a miner. The northern regions shaped him as a man with knowledge of everything necessary for survival: hunting, craftsmanship, building, knowledge of the routes and plants found on them. He knows the northern cultures, rumors and dangers of the region well. Emricht Ashby is a 53 years old human, born in Targos - there he also met his wife - Gyrahaer Yadurr. They have been married for 31 years. Loth's mother is 55 years old human, and although she met her husband in Targos, she is from Loudwater herself. Here she grew up among humans, wood elves and other races, living with fascination in the nature of nearby High Forest. Her parents had many Elven friends and, like herself, they were fascinated by nature and elven affairs. It was part of their lifes. While living with a population of many different races, she learned Elvish fairly quickly. Gyrahaer at the age of 17, and her parents moved to Targos. In the village, she deals with the cultivation of vegetables and herbs, herbal medicine, and matters related to subjects mentioned above. She looks after the animals, doin gevery day job of person living in place like this. In her spare time she carves in beautiful knucklehead ivory, leaving the village for longer periods only when folks of other smaller communities in the area need help with healing, need herbs or to replenish village supplies.

They got married in Targos, when Emricht was 22, and Gyrahaer was 24, in 1327 DR - Year of the Blue Flame. Year later, after many years spent on dreaming and planning, and raising funds with help of their parents, they left Targor along with few friends, and founded a small settlement between Mirabar and Luskan, with more comfortable life comapred to one they had in Icewind Dale as main goal, and gaining profit from it at once. In 1330 DR, Gyrahaer gave birth to her first children, boy named Vizan. In 1332 DR she gave birth to another boy, with name of Sevir. In 1334 DR Loth was born. Later in 1337 and 1339 two girls were born, named Amacerlyn and Narharsan.

From very young age Loth was taught elven language by his mother, took part in hunting, and worked with crops. At age of 14 he became a follower of Tymora - his choice was connected to presence of her priest, who visited the settlement from time to time. Many people around him followed Tymora - not directly in villiage, but in Luskan - where he worked. It was a common choice among adventurers, sailors, pirates, merchants and hunters. He started to work in Luskan docks for few years when he turned 11 years old, mainly during warmer seasons, when the trails leading to the city were filled with more caravans and travelers than in winter. There he made few friends. Loth was 15 years old when captain of trading ship heading to Ten-Towns agreed to hire him as sailor, and he earned good sum of gold for this due to lack of other volounteers, cold winter and his experience with handling a ship in docks. He always liked and respected sailors who risked their lives on open sea, even applied this to pirates. The latter often told him many stories which he always liked to listen. The clearly visible pirate and sailor accents in the Loth choice of clothes come precisely from these mentioned times.

While not working at part time jobs, Loth helps in villiage in all matters that he is able to help in. He spending days at hunting, farming and hatching trees, defending it with others from threats such as northern tribe peoples or kobolds raids. Once a year everyone from villiage who can do it, heads to the north from villiage, in Spine of the World direction, to gather any valuables they can find, while hunting. Usually journey takes no more than week, and during this peroid of time they gather some gems, wild herbs, but most important information about tribes living in area.
With his siblings and other inhabitants he spends his time in inn, practice horse raiding, archery and fighting.

While every member of his family is somewhat skilled ranger, certain persons know different things, unique to them.

His oldest brother, Vizan, is very charismatic person, well trained with sword. He serve as caravan guard for merchant house in Mirabar, however, his contract with the guild includes guarding the caravans only on the route between Mirabar and Luskan and nowhere else, so he is always around if needed. For caravans that include trips to other regions, a separate agreement is made, different than this one between two cities. Due to his magnetic character he made many contacts between guards of caravans, so he often hanging out with them, calling them to aid if there is a need - and if they are able to help at the time.

Second older brother of Loth – Sevir – is a mystery to everyone. Casually he does everything as other villiagers, he is hard working guy. He is not well built and likes to drink a lot. He is good at traps and snares, generally good at things considered to be craftsmanship. Unfortunately, he is drawn to the dark star types of people, which is why he has brought trouble to himself and the village community more than once. Pirates, thugs and thieves are the people around whom he spends his time in Luskan, and among whom he has the most important contacts. Like Loth, he follows Tymora.

Loth’s younger sister – Amacerlyn – helps a lot in villiage inn, and loves to take care of any animals. She is very intelligent person in love with books, collecting them in the same way like she collects feathers, and one day she wants to visit Candlekeep libraries. She loves magic, and every time the priest of Tymora visits the village, she returns with him to temple and there - for the sum of gold that she is constantly saving - she takes a month of magic practice with the temple wizard.

Youngest sister of Loth – Narharsan - can sing beautifully and has a talent for most instruments she can get her hands on. She is perfect at entertaining guests at the village inn, and in everything she tries to imitate her older sister, except that she is not very fond of magic. During the season, she works in the gardens of the richer townspeople in Luskan with her sister, and after a few days of work there, she returns to the village for a few days to return to Luskan again.

The whole family cooperates and there are no major conflicts between them. They all have jet black hair and bright green eyes - except for the mother who has blue eyes. What they earn and produce goes first to the good of the family, then to the good of the village, but each individual sets aside their earned gold for various occasions. They are neither rich nor poor. The amount of gold earned is enough for them to live as comfortable as in the northern reality nearby to such a dangerous city. It is enough to pay taxes, purchase various services or animals, repair buildings or replace broken equipment or hire specialists for various matters. The taxes they pay every month are gold for land and protection in an emergency, plus 1/3 of the food they produce, and half of animals that they hunted.

Members of the other three families living in the village, as well as the Loth family, work there on the farm, at the inn and with the animals. They hunt a lot and, like the Loth family, many of them mostly work part-time in Mirabar or Luskan, but still stay here for most of the time.

The more important family is the one that owns the inn. They are a married couple of wood elves, friends of Loth's parents who came here with them - as are all the families who live here - from Torgar. They have two children, boys, around the age of 60.

The other two families are of the human race.
One family consists of parents and 4 children - 3 boys and 1 girl, who are on average the same age as Loth and his siblings.
The second family consists of a single mother raising an 18-year-old daughter. The head of the family and the only son died while repelling the attack of the mountain tribes on the settlement, which took place several years after its founding.

When Loth returned to the settlement from Baldurs Gate he found it ruined. Enough to say that it was not completely devastated, because the inn and warehouse were transformed and fortified for the needs of the Luscan city guard garrison, which turned the settlement into a post securing the trade route against raging demons, tribes and other dangers that could harm the interests of this city by taking advantage of the chaos.
When asked about the villagers, the guards pointed him to Mirabar - this is where all the local inhabitants fleeing terror were supposed to seek safety.
On the way to Mirabar, they avoided the main trail, only traveling at night along the paths well known to Loth - after all, this was where he learned to ride and participated in countless hunts.
In Mirabar they found the Loth family healthy, but not complete. As events escalated, both of his brothers were away from the village - the eldest brother guarded the caravan that traveled to Lonelywood on the trade route leading north through Luskan. The second brother had been in Luskan for a month and gave no sign of his life.
The rest of the families were complete, and those who could have joined the temporary created militia to help with whatever the city had a problem with - and there were a lot of these problems.
Loth and Elvalia joined a small squad that consisted mostly of hunters, two healers, and a few shield dwarves. Their main task was hunting to provide the city with food, but they also participated in reconnaissance and escorts of less important but essential people or goods to Luskan.

A lot of time has passed on this. The brothers still did not return either to the village where there was a guard post temporarily, or to Mirabar or Luskan. Loth, being occasionally in the latter, tried to look for his brother and ask the inhabitants about him, but he did not get any information about any of his brothers.

As rumors of defeating the army of demons and overcoming other dangers in the area began to spread around Sword Coast and everyone could breathe a sigh of relief, the villagers decided to return to their village to rebuild what had been destroyed. The spared gold they managed to take with them when they fled was enough to buy materials to rebuild houses. Loth was helping with the work while Elvalia was hunting. All the inhabitants worked hard, especially in the fields. However, gold was not enough to buy new animals as well as many other things necessary to completely rebuild and return to normal life. Taxes increased, and the prices of the food they could not produce were very high. Loth gave his family all that he had earned while he was in the Baldurs Gate region - two of his brothers who were earning money and helping a lot with the work, disappeared without a trace.
With the vision of a starving family, he decided to return to Baldurs Gate, where he could offer his services in exchange for the gold he wanted to send to the family. Before returning, he spent time with the village community making plans, expressing concern over the times and the situation they found themselves in. They devised a plan to further rebuild the village, protect it from its dangers, restore the Icewind Dale timber trade, and a plan to search for the missing brothers. In 1358 DR - when most of the field work was completed and the village had the resources to survive at least two months - Loth left the village with his wife and headed for the Baldurs Gate. At the same time, his two younger sisters set off to Luskan. One of the sisters will stay in the city, where, using her musical talent and beautiful voice in taverns, she will earn gold and look for information about the brother who was in the city when everything started to fall apart. She will be returning to the settlement for two days each week. She will be waiting for her sister in Luskan.
The eldest of them travels through Luskan to Ten-Towns, on the route that was previously taken by a caravan guarded by their brother. She wants to find him or find out what happened to the caravan he was guarding, while renewing or concluding a new agreement in Ten-Towns about the timber trade. As long as her search continues, she promises to come to Luskan once a month and meet her sister to exchange information and show that she is alive.

After saying goodbye and exchanging wishes and blessings, Loth says to them "Fortune favors the bold - so seek for both boldness and fortune". The four split up in Luskan, and less than a week later, Loth and his companion arrive back at Baldurs Gate.
