Within the walls of the Radiat Heart's Courtyard, the sounds of combat practice and a few voices can be heard drifting over the stone walls.

Vanira steps out of the shadow that surrounds her... eyes on her target. Thwack! The flat of her blade smacks the scout firmly on the back of their head. Much in the same manner that the Handsome Shadow had trained her when she first found Doron Amar. The scout looks as if to complain to the silvery-white haired elf and Vanira raises a challenging brow with a question in her eyes that seems to give the scout pause. Would the words of complaint really be worth it?

Her normally smiling face and light melodic tone of her voice is sober as she speaks her next words, "Had that been a real attack, you'd be dead." Pausing she moved her wintery-blue eyes to the other two scouts that she was also training, letting the seriousness of that sink in. "You are skilled, or I wouldn't be wasting my time with you."

"We will continue to drill until you hone those skills. Focus on not just looking around you but truly -seeing- and -observing-, if you don't see me, you should notice the blade of grass that my foot is touching as it moves, a bit of dust lifting to the air, the slight distortion of an outline of your attacker. There is -always- something that can give the concealed away. Take notice of these things and you will live, if you do not, you will die as well as the ones you are protecting. The knights are blind and it is up to us to see. Now go... " She looks to the three scouts in front of her. "...run ten laps and we will work again with our bows."

She shouldn't be giving them the break, but there seemed to be a great difference in how humans and elves handled drills... and these ones were not used to such training methods. They'd be better for it, but .... Her eyes looked around the training yard a moment before she joined them in their sprints. They would train heavy for the next few days before she gave them rest. It wasn't just the troll king that they had to prepare for... there were other troubles ahead of them.

Grand Knight, Aaron Lyonaler along with a contingent from the Radiant Heart, returns to Kraak Helzak to retrieve the swords and bodies of the seven fallen soldiers. Later the families of the fallen were visited, the swords given to the next of kin. Honors were bestowed upon the families for the sacrifices made. Funeral services were provided for the seven heroes who fell. All were buried with honor.

close to Kraak Helzak Bhor Stonecutter bows his head in honor of the fallen and progression of the Radiant Heart.

Ill at ease he wished he could have done more to defend all that so valiantly defended his home and kin.

A young woman with strange brown-violet pools for eyes and oddly orange hair comes to the gates. Clearly the woman hasn't slept much. She hands a letter to the most Radiant Heart gatekeepers. She rants about common sense foliage and how to contain fires until she feels her point had come across. Before she abruptly leaves she says "If a fire breaks out here one way or another ya all need to listen to the farmers and do -exactly- as they say. " The woman leaves in a huff muttering to herself, at least the woman will get some sleep now. (( :) :) ))

A courier arrives carrying a letter in hand with the seal of Mystra, it is for the attention of Grand Knight, Aaron Lyonaler and the courier would ask kindly that the letter was handed directly to the man.

In recent days, The Chapter House has been a hive of activity. Extra guards can be heard within the walls and the rotation at the gate is doubled, no guard outside more then a hour at a time.

Messengers come and go in a near steady stream, however the knights are rarely present. Ser Lyonaler remains a common sight, maintaining the many matters but the knights appear scattered. Returning every few days, often covered in road dust and worse debris, only to leave after a scant few hours.

When the moon elf returns from her patrols, though unusually haggard in her physical appearance, she continues the training of the other scouts of the Order.

For the last several days, Tarina has been housed at the Radiant Heart chapterhouse, at the recommendation of Sir Rennec and Sir Sean. It is rumored this is related to some kind of possession. Tarina's charms, spell components, and weapons have been temporarily confiscated by the Radiants, though the witch has not been kept in a cell. She spent the first night in the library, but since then she has chosen to keep to the belltower instead, watching the comings and goings of the farmlands from the windows.

As of tonight, though, Tarina has finally chosen to house in the Radiants' antimagic cell, in the hopes that its disruptive powers can counter whatever is afflicting her.

In the morning, a redhaired tiefling in blue robes bearing the symbols of Candlekeep can be seen approaching the Chapther House carrying some bags. She would speak briefly with the guards, introducing herself as Scribe Edelgarde. She would explain the reason of her visit is to meet Tarina and deliver some of her belongings to her. She would also mention discussing this with Sir Sean on the day prior.
Edelgarde would spend a few hours in the company of Tarina, inquiring about her health and well-being and trying to offer some measure of comfort. She would then leave the premises and travel south. Someone attentive enough would notice that once out of the Chapter House her smile would be replaced by a pained and worried expression.

During the past week, while she has been confined to the antimagic cell in the Radiant Heart chapterhouse, Tarina has started to grow more and more lethargic. When she is not sleeping, she at times seems confused, unsure of where she is or even who the Radiant Heart are. She even didn't recognize Edelgarde during the tiefling's visit, at first. She has had some moments of clarity, but these grow fewer as the days progress.

During one visit, by the Rashemi Pyotr, Tarina was let out of the cell by Sir Aaron. Outside the cell, she seemed more like herself—for a time. But even outside the antimagic, the lethargy and disassociation continue to creep up on her, and she spends more hours asleep than awake.

In the following days, Edelgarde would keep visiting Tarina at the Radiant Heart Chapter House. Albeit deeply pained by the condition of her friend, Edelgarde would keep her company regardless even if their conversations would end up being rather one-sided, telling her the latest news from Candlekeep and sometimes reading for her, hoping to bring Tarina some solace or keeping a measure of grasp on her old self.

Vik, the hairy, shirtless Rashemi warrior, stopped by the Chapter House to relay information to one of the men at arms standing watch; several miles down the road to Thundar's Ride, a group of necromancers were seen raising a small army of undead minions. He was accompanied by the sorceress Kaisi Autumnweaver, apprentice of Nedrin, and she corroborated the information.

The Radiant Heart Keep is a buzz with activity. Equipment, food, bedding and other supplies are being taken out of the armory for travel. Members from several organizations of the City also begin to gather at the Keep. Entry Registration papers for Cormyr have also been prepared.

The Radiant Heart members are seen assembling outside the Keep Gates, before making north towards Kraak Helzak. The mounted members escort wagons with materials along their path to the Dwarven stronghold. Once arrived, the Radiant members meet once more with the twenty five soldiers stationed in Kraak Helzak to aid in its defense. The soldiers, Squires, and Knights set to unloading the brought supplies before aiding in the repairs on the broken gates of Kraak Helzak, overseen by the Grand Knight.

Once things are underway and their services no longer required, the soldiers, now bolstered by those that had been stationed in the Kingdom, form up and begin their march back to the city and return to the Keep. A celebration for the return of their brothers and sisters back from Kraak Helzak is held in the Banquet Hall of the Keep.
