Hi folks,
Does anyone experience an issue with Neverwinter Nights 2 where it will, seemingly at random, cause your video card to seize up and blotch the screen with red pixels.
Sound eventually cuts for an electronic whirring unless you Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
Then this message comes up over and over in the launcher:
Nwn2mainVectoredExceptionHandler: Attempting to recover from video driver TDR error (video driver fault)...
Normally the above is when the graphics card is under stress.. I am running a GTX 980 - and its only NWN2 that causes this problem?
Any thoughts, suggestions?
Youtube was running a music video at the time, but its hardly the first game I've done that with.

Re: TDR error
Try another (older/newer version) of the graphic driver.
Remove the old driver completely and reboot, then install the other driver.
Driver Uninstaller: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/di ... nload.html
If that doesn't help, you could try to lower the game setting (shadows, water reflection, details) either ingame or in the nvidea settings.
Or lower the resolution and test if the problem persists.
Also is your system overheating ?
Cleanout dust and monitor temperatures while playing.
