Dark Apostate
I play DDO from time to time - and they recently added this class:

Dark Apostate is a variant cleric archetype that embraces negative energy.
Basically a palemaster variant for cleric.
Thoughts?
On that note - I would also like to suggest that Palemasters be healed via negative energy instead of positive.

Would they also be harmed by healing spells?

Re: Dark Apostate
Yes!
I think for palemasters (and dark apostate) - there should be 3 class feats that can be chosen as they level up.
Basically stages of undeath. The higher you progress, the less you are healed from positive until it damages you and vice versa for negative.

Re: Dark Apostate
Examples:
Stage 1: Positive spells now harm you for 33% of the base amount, Negative spells heal for 33%
Stage 2: Positive spells now harm you for 66% of the base amount, Negative spells heal for 66%
Stage 3: Positive spells now harm you for 100% of the base amount, Negative spells heal for 100%
There should also be different forms of undead you can take on (Stage 3) - each granting different attributes.
Zombie: +2 Constitution, +1d6 Negative Damage Melee, +Physical DR, and move 10% slower.
Shadow: +2 Wis and Con, + to Concealment, Vulnerability to Light
Wraith: +2 Dex and Int, + to Concealment, DR vs Fall damage, +1d6 Sneak Dice, Vulnerability to Light
Vampire: +2 Cha and Int, +3 perform, + Vampiric on melee attacks, Vulnerability to Light
Lich: +2 int and con, + Negative Healing Amplification, Vulnerability to Positive

Re: Dark Apostate
I'm imagining me just spamming healing spells against creature
All around it sounds cool.

Re: Dark Apostate
The word "apostate" puts me a bit off here, since a cleric actually has to be devout.
Mechanically, i am skeptical of anything sourced from dandwiki.
Thematically, there's no reason why negative energy should heal and positive energy should damage a living creature. And palemaster is living.
I'm sorry, but thus sort of feels like sneaking in undead pcs.

It's not even a D&DWiki homebrew. It's a DDO homebrew.

Re: Dark Apostate
Oh, I misread the URL. Yeah, that's even worse, as DDO functions in entirely different ways than actual D&D.
