Request for help on deity information

Unread post by TheKai »

Hello everyone,

Posting here in hopes of getting help fleshing out one of the RP aspects of my PC, and to make sure I have the lore. He will be a Spirit Shaman but in service and communication with servitor spirits/incarnates/primal entities representing (in a three times removed not directly manner) the different Deities of Magic Faerun has available. Essentially, he will be an agent of magic to be used by the spirits for various purposes and agenda, both good and evil.

Deities of Magic listed on BGSTCC's Wiki:
Mystra
Azuth
Savras - Imprisoned
Leira
Corellon Larethian
Sehanine Moonbow
Baravar Cloakshadow
Thoth
Isis
Set

Deities I found online but not listed on wiki:
Thautam was the dwarven god of mysteries, darkness, lost treasures, and magic (3E)
Kirith Sotheril was a minor elven goddess of divination and enchantment magic (2E)
Mythrien Sarath held dominion over protective magic and aided high mages in the erection of mythals (2E)
Kereska was the chaotic neutral dragon goddess of magic, specifically dragon magic and magical creativity (2E)

Other potential deities related to magic
Selûne and Shar. It was the battle between these two that spawned magic. Female spellcasters still frequently follow Selûne, while Shar has her negative magic in the shadow weave.
Oghma, Gond, Deneir, and other gods of knowledge and crafts. These typically go hand-in-hand with magic, as magic is a craft and a knowledge, and many supporting aspects of magic (potions, scrolls and writing, alchemy, etc) are crafts.

Would anyone know of any others? There's alot of potential for some great RP and wanted to make sure I have all the information out there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!
Kai

Thank you for the information. I did not know that about Velsharoon, will remove him.
