Some are familiar. Some less so.
But they are more numerous, and more diverse, than they were before...

The first of these had not been seen entering the hut in the first place. The other wounded belonged to the group who carried the unconscious drow inside earlier, and the uninjured one is the woman they had brought into the village.House Zau'afin wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 2:26 am A few cycles past, a scuffle broke out between a group of Drow in one of the dens near the Lighttouch Garden. Soon after a single Drow, worse for wear was seen exiting the building. He had swiftly left the city. Soon after 3 more drow, 2 worse for wear, were spotted leaving Rockrun.
Interestingly, rather than stifle activity at the Guides' favored resting place, the attack seems to have emboldened them. Although a few of the drow have yet to return to Rockrun, those who remain have started being less subtle about going in and out of Ilhara's den.
Meanwhile, familiar faces are trickling into the Upperdark...

A large group of drow visited the Tunnelrunners last cycle, all known to the gnomes as either members or associates of Mrigge. Knowledge of their intentions is unlikely to reach many besides the gnomish leadership, but the outcome could not have been favorable: As the group broke up and wandered back out of Runner's Pass, one of them loudly expressed her frustration to another in their own tongue.

The door is soon cleaned up by magical means. The Guides' hut still appears occupied, despite the disappearance of the gnomes... but their intentions remain unclear.eternal night wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 7:37 am
A lone quiet drow jumps and runs around Rockrun now empty, she yells and goes to hidden and unhidden places, trying to find at least ONE GNOME, after failing, she starts blaming the drow presence on Rockrun, swearing and yelling more, insults and incoherent mumbling yelled, at the drow presence, a particular home, of certain drow who lives in Rockrun , has it's door painted blood red crimson with the words "NOT WELCOME"

Re: Mrigge d'l'Har'oloth - Guides of the Underdark RP
A sufficiently attentive observer might have noticed a staggered procession of elf-like figures making their way to the Guides' den last cycle. Eventually, they all leave again; the visitors return to the surface, while Ilhara wanders outside the village, shrouding herself in magic and shadow alike before presumably scouting the area.
Though Rockrun lies abandoned, something is stirring in the area. The Guides and their allies seem ideally placed and willing to shape the future of the old dwarven stronghold... but in what direction?

After a brief skirmish with a band of Titanfist scouts infiltrating the village, a quartet of drow encounter the first scouts of the Blue Lantern, and are soon escorted to their camp.
It is not known what they discussed there, but their leader seemed highly optimistic as they returned to their hut...

Re: Mrigge d'l'Har'oloth - Guides of the Underdark RP
The Guides seem to have been keeping busy.
Last cycle, two drow - one of them recognizable as Ilhara - were chased out of the Titanfist encampment near Rockrun, hotly pursued until they approached the village gates, where a wounded Ilhara finally succumbed to her injuries and fatigue, collapsing to the ground.
Those paying attention to the incident would have noticed a third drow join up with them, coming from Undrek Naudal; she proceeded to help Ilhara's companion carry the wounded Guide into the village.
It is unclear what transpired next... but some inferences can be made. Attentive observers might have noticed Ilhara periodically casting spells in several locations across all approaches to Rockrun, more recently accompanied by a few more spells inside the village itself. The particularly observant might have worked out a schedule for these excursions, but now, the schedule has been broken. She appears to be either unable, or unwilling, to maintain it...

Activity in and out of Ilhara's hut comes to an abrupt halt after she receives a few more visitors.
If anyone attempted to investigate, the young drow would no longer be there... nor would anyone else.

A lone drow has an audience with the leaders of the Blue Lantern... when she leaves their camp and returns to the surface, it is under heavy wards and with a grim determination in her stance.
Something is afoot. But it will not be as straightforward as she had hoped...

If Ilhara or others happen to return, they would notice, that someone has been using the beds and eating there, as evidence that someone has been staying there and not caring for leaving a mess behind in an abandoned home.

OOC Note: I'm a bit behind, and there is alot I did not write about.
Several Drow were escorted, gagged and bound through the Kraak Helzak camp. They had been escorted by a tiefling and a knight of the Triad. Eventually, those drow reached the underdark and reopened dialogue with the blue lanterns. Plans were made, and the Eilistraeeans needed to obtain wizards to play their part. They needed to ensure that the illithid would not just teleport in behind the Blue Lanterns, and they needed enough power to stand until the arm of Kraak Helzak would arrive.
After several cycles of that particular tiefling finding wizards on the surface and the Drow preparing for the coming battle, the surfacers and Drow met outside of Rockrun. They met with Morex, and had to clear an undead infestation out of Rockrun. Once they had fought their way to the keep through the undead, they reported back to the Blue Lanterns, and the Blue Lanterns occupied Rockrun.

Magical explosion, blade against shield and cries of war echoed throughout the tunnels near Rockrun, as a great battle for its dominion began. Within Rockun, the soldiers of the Company of the Blue Lantern and their close allies had taken a great risk: They had run in and started to barricade and fortify, locking the entirety of Rockrun dimensionally, so no armies could be teleported in behind them. A funnel - a bottleneck was created. Even so, when the attack began, many soldiers fell, and the defenders had to retreat back to the next barricades, and then even further back.
Finally, however, the plan they had made with the dwarves of Kraak Helzak came in from behind the enemy ranks, flanking them. Victory was within reach!
And then, the illithids themselves arrived, with more mindthrall warriors, flanking the dwarves. They had anticipated this move - or perhaps someone had tipped them of? Even so, the combined might of the defenders and the dwarves proved too much for the illithids and their remaining forces. And so the Blue Lantern took a victory. However, it was a costly one, and many earth genasi and dwarves alike fell.
