Word spreads from travellers on the Trade's Way that a strange, greenish mist has appeared on the roads- rolling over hillsides, fields of grass and valleys. Slowly, but steadily, the mist has been spreading farther and farther, growing in thickness as it did. By now, it has spread considerably across the roads; it's suggested that the fog may soon start reaching the northern reaches of Troll Hills and maybe even Boareskyr Bridge.

As if it wasn't enough, rumours suggest that the mist is also toxic to living beings. Stories talk about a small number of hunters that have fallen greatly sick - few of them dying - as a result, as if their bodies just refused to work.

Almost everyone points their fingers at Dragonspear its infernal armies as the culprit behind the green fog, especially since their forces themselves seem not to be affected by it as the battles continue.

A valiant band of adventurers have recently answered the call for help from Kheldrivver- a holy order of Tempus requesting immediate assistance with tasks relating to the defence of the town. Supposedly, the settlement is in danger from the hordes from Dragonspear marching on closer and closer, something that the followers of Tempus are trying to defend the locals from with their lives.

Rumours spread of an orcish making its way towards Kheldrivver. However, that one was slowed down after the front bulk of their army was forced on retreat after half of the adventuring band, despite the odds being against them, have forced the monsters to retreat from what is now a bloodied battlefield.

Tongues are wagging that the second band of adventurers, likewise, have encountered some strange dark rituals being done by monsters at the edge of Trollbark Forest- most likely fiendish in nature. Those tales vividly speak of strange portals, gargantuan skeletal hands, bizarre monsters and even "Cheese Lords" (an idea accredited to commonly reputed as an insane, conspiracy-theorist man that likes to frequent The Elfsong Tavern).

Something is definitely preparing to happen in the North.
