Hospitaler levels don't count towards Elixir CLs (or any CL)

Rolled up a test toon: Cleric 9/Master Alchemist 5/Hospitaler 9/Hierophant 6 (total HD of 29).

Took Spellpower I and II and Practiced Spellcaster (Cleric).

Highest Elixir CL is 24.

While I was leveling up, I also noticed that none of the Hospitaler levels were advancing my spellcasting progression. At level 15, with 4 Hospitaler levels, I figure I should have had 13 caster levels (spellcasting progression at Hospitaler levels 2 and 4, right?) However, I could only cast up to level 6 spells. Had my caster levels been 13, I would have been able to cast level 7 spells.

Maybe I am missing something?

Did you pick the spellcasting progression feat at hospitaler level 1 ?

I did not notice any! And I looked for it very closely. I even rerolled one more time to make sure I didn't miss it. It just never showed up in my feat selection. :/

And no, the character did not have Hospitaler before.

Now the spellcasting progression is working. Maybe I took Master Alchemist before Hospitaler, before? I dunno. But if anyone else has this issue, asking a DM to grant you feat 2994 will fix it. Thanks, Valefort!
